In early August he called on states to impose their own sanctions on Iran based on a supreme court case (fought and won by Ted Cruz) in 08 where the court ruled that international treaties not approved by congress held no jurisdiction over the states. Now the Michigan and Oklahoma attorneys general are both calling on other states to impose sanctions on Iran.

Unfortunately, Obama will simply ignore the law and McConnell will acquiesce.
This has been going on since TEFRA in '82 - the democrats (and now republicans join them) make what seems to be reasonable promises to give and take, they end up taking and give nothing.
We must stop dealing with these people as if they are honorable. They are anything but.
