Classly men tend to marry classy wives just as classless men tend to marry classless wives.

Agreed.

I like Carson. From everything I've seen he's really a nice man. Unfortunately, at this particular stage in our country a "nice" man isn't someone we need to lead the country. Given the choice of voting for him or some democrat, I'd have no problem pulling the lever, but I think I want someone scrappier in charge. Probably not as scrappy as Trump. Cruz is still my preferred choice. Any of these 3 men could do the job though.

I pray that God continues to bless Mr. Carson, and that he will be able to serve our country in some capacity. He's still reasonably young. Maybe he just needs a bit more seasoning.

I couldn't agree more.

I think that Carson is a very, very good man.

At this stage of the game, though, I don't think that we need a good man. We need someone who's not afraid to be a @@#%#@!!$#. Who doesn't bend, or break. Who is not afraid to take a firm negotiating position, and not be afraid to walk away from the table. Who's not afraid to take the lumps that go along with making hard decisions.

In short, probably not most of the GOP.

Walker, definitely - he's already shown his spine in dealing with Dems in Wisconsin. I've no idea why he's not running on that, instead of trying to blend in with the rest of the pack. Probably will be his downfall, at least in this election cycle.

Cruz probably fits the bill.

Trump poses correctly, but I'm still not 100% convinced. One thing that I can say with certainty about Trump is that he has enough money not to care what others think, which is a double-edged sword. It's good, so long as we agree, then...it's not. No gray areas to be found here.

The rest of the pack? I think that they're too worried about getting invited to all the right country club parties, than doing what needs to be done.

I have no idea who I will vote for next year, but I have no qualms about DR Carson’s quiet and polite demeanor.

The man has nerves of steel.

He’s a neurosurgeon, one of the best in the world. Not only is he scary smart, he’s determined, methodical, focused, and relentless. Tough as nails.

My only concern is his lack of political experience, but he can easily surround himself with people who know the system. Dr. Ben Carson is a quick study.

Talk softly and carry a big stick ....
