Obviously, the city just admitted guilt regardless. Preposterous.

It's a wrongful death suit. He died in police custody. Kind of hard to deny that. A runaway jury could have cost them many times the amount they'll pay.

Fair point, especially given high octane attorney fees and (likely) more damage to the city during a trial.

So the police have to make sure you don’t hurt yourself while in their custody. Waiting to hear if one of the lawyers for the cops gets the hospital records - he did live a week after this.

Or, to be more accurate, the amount that Baltimore taxpayers, Maryland taxpayers, and/or US taxpayers will pay.

The Democrat politicians who run Baltimore like a third world banana republic won't pay anything.
