Good morning! Hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. Summer is getting long in the tooth...sigh.
Morning! I took another day off. Mr S and son tried to fix a leak in the upstairs shower. They got it all dis-assembled. Son did some plumbing while in the navy. They lacked the right tools to finish though. Calling a plumber in to finish the job. Don’t know if they’ll be able to send someone over today or not. If not, I guess I’ll be taking another day off. :-))

Glad to see you posting sneaks...saw on tv a big fire in Indiana County—hope those involved are all ok, and that it doesn’t affect your commute or anything.

I just checked Indiana County 911. Wow, every fire department in the area is on standby! I’ll check out the WTAE webpage.
There was also a heartbreaking fire, overnight, in Lawrence county. A mom and grade school aged daughter died; the dad and a younger son escaped.
And an apartment bldg fire in Pgh’s Garfield neighborhood (no injuries reported).
Odd to have so many reported. That’s one reason I try to avoid the local news (too depressing).
House fire. The house is flanked by houses very close by. I’m not surprised that a lot of other fire departments are on standby!
While I was checking WTAE, I saw that a female beer truck driver was arrested after a road rage incident on rte 22 in Westmoreland county!
Mrs p6 might have to take today off. She got OK but she is still less than a mile away. We were getting ready this morning for grand kids so we didn’t have the TV on.
Turns out there is an accident on the Parkway and everything is dridlocked on her route to work. I’ve been on the phone with her for the past half hour and nothing is moving. She’s thinking about pulling off the road and maybe turning around.
