Clinton: I don't need to apologize for private email server
Washington Examiner ^ | 9/7/15 | Paige Winfield Cunningham

Hillary Clinton said she doesn't need to apologize for using a private email account while leading the State Department, saying "what I did was allowed."

In a Monday interview with the Associated Press, Clinton downplayed how the email controversy may have affected her campaign and reiterated that she never sent and received information marked as classified at the time. "Not much," she replied when asked how it affected her as a candidate.

"I have worked really hard this summer, sticking to my game plan about how I wanted to sort of reintroduce myself to the American people," she said.

When asked by the AP whether she would directly apologize for using a private address for official business, Clinton said what she did was allowed by the State Department and said the agency has confirmed that to be true.

Last week, the Democratic front-runner told NBC News that it wasn't the "best choice" to use a personal email address for professional and personal purposes. But she also insists it hasn't hurt her campaign for president, although polls show it's taken some toll on her favorability ratings.

"It's a distraction, certainly," Clinton told the AP. "But it hasn't in any way affected the plan for our campaign, the efforts we're making to organize here in Iowa and elsewhere in the country. And I still feel very confident about the organization and the message that my campaign is putting out."

In June, an internal government review found that Clinton sent at least four emails from her personal account containing classified information while secretary of state, and referred the matter to the FBI for investigation. Clinton has maintained that she never sent or received classified information.

Let the news drone on, and when it gets old, just say it’s old news.

No apology necessary....just a simple guilty or not guilty will suffice for starters.

She keeps equating a private e-mail account with a private server in her own home, set up and serviced by her own people.

And then blames the little people for being confused about the issue.

And the media says “OK...what’s your favorite ice cream”?

Obama isn’t always going to live in the Rainbow Palace. Someday Hillary, you are going to have to show some remorse before a court if you want a lighter sentence.

I’m finishing up reading “13 Hours In Benghazi”. Excellent book. It makes me wonder what part Clinton’s personal email server played in her Benghazi fiasco.

Clinton said what she did was allowed by the State Department and said the agency has confirmed that to be true.

Why not ask her 'WHO' at the State Department told her that it was OK to carry on communications about US State Department affairs on a non-secure, private server? Why not ask her, if she claims that 'no' classified materials were sent or received on her personal server, what server were all of the classified materials sent and received? She couldn't have gone through years of running the State Department and not have handled ANY classified information????

What amazes me is how the so-called security experts, law enforcement officers, and law makers are turning their heads with this lady's law breaking....

This criminal is going to “reintroduce herself to the American people?” Again?

It’s all about you, Hil. Don’t apologize, just have your lesbo zombie supporters sign the loyalty oath and you go have a few more shots of tequila.

"Clinton: I don't need to apologize for private email server"

Very true, she just needs to stand trial and face justice for breaking the law. No apologies are required.
