I read another article about this a few days ago that said he “thought” the gun was unloaded...
That was one of the most important things I was taught about firearm safety. There is no such thing as an unloaded gun, until l open the thing and see for myself. Until then, it’s loaded.
I don’t have to guess, mine are always loaded. That eliminates the guess work. I don’t have to even look, I KNOW it’s loaded. But only one does not have a round in the chamber, if someone breaks into my house the first thing I want him to hear is when I shift one into my pump shotgun...the sound criminals fear most...
Another is this - Never point any gun at any person, except in self defense. Including yourself.
Now why has nobody pointed out that this idiot didn’t have sense enough to check and see if it was really unloaded?
Just cleaning out the gene pool...
Back when I was a cub scout leader, I was teaching BB gun safety at a regional event.
I told one group that I knew beyond all shadow of doubt that the BB gun I had was empty, yet I still treated it as if loaded.
