IMHO....The GOP (e) is finished, as is the Democrat Party. The GOP Primaries will be loaded with “real” conservative candidates who will win in most contests. After the 2016 election...you will not recognize the GOP as it is today.
As for the Democrats......the dummies have now limited their options for political survival to dumping and brooming Obama as soon as possible. Clinton will fold or withdraw, Sanders & Warren are going nowhere...and, they have no bench, whatsoever!!! Biden sees the handwriting on the wall...and, wants no part of the action. He just wants his term to end, so he can make haste and get away from Obama, right into retirement from politics!!! Obama...in effect has destroyed his own party.
just study the 2010 & 2014 elections, and you will clearly see the trend. Had either McCain or Romney had a backbone...they would have and could have beaten Obama. They both choked...weak sisters that they are!!

Over a thousand democrat seats changed hands to the R's in those elections, btw after the government shutdown. Republicans now own 31 governorship's, 33 of the 49 state houses are majority R. The 114th congress is the largest majority of Republican's in congress since 1929-1931.
All to stop BO which the R's said they needed. And after those major historical victories, they say they can't put bills on his desk cuz he might veto them, so now they say they need the presidency to stop BO. So R's just wait for another 16 months and elect Bush and then we can stop BO and cut the budget and maybe defund PP. Until then you will just have to live with the fact that your tax dollars will aid the killing of another million+ babies by ripping their limbs from their bodies and selling them for gain, cuz BO will veto our bill, boo hoo.
