People have lanquished in jail for years when held in contempt for disobeying a judges order. I understand that her path to freedom requires she issue licenses or order clerks to do so. Both acts offend he First Amendment rights.

But! We run a danger by relying solely on freedom of religion to preverve our right to refuse to do acts on grounds of conscience. A rstional athiest or agnostic should be able to refuse as Kim does on freedom of conscience grounds alone.

If we stay in religious objections they will further have reason to abuse the Kims of this country.

Well, the 1st amendment defense is the most obvious breach by the court. Job discrimination as the result of a religious objection without some effort to accommodate the objector by any entity should be a easy court case under normal circumstances.

But the scotus decision has thrown a wrench into what was a strained but still intact remaining part of our constitutional protections.

So yeah, we have to use it but there are other sections in the constitution that are violated as well and all of them need to be used as a legal matter.

As to further abuse od the Kim’s...You can count on it!

You will see the federal government through it’s courts, begin to force all churches that allow marriages and or holy matrimony services in their sanctuary’s, to afford that same privilege to any gay couple that asks.

This has already occurred in some of the UK and Europe.
