If willful failure to uphold the law is the standard, Obama should have been jailed a long time ago. Hillary, too. And Eric whatshisname the AG. And Lois Lerner. It’s a never ending list.

I don’t think anyone is forgetting she is a democrat.

I think this issue and some others transcend political partys.

Trump does not seem like someone who wants to get into the details. Plus, his background makes it unlikely he could see the world from the viewpoint of a simple woman from Kentucky.

Trump released a white paper or policy statement on immigration full of details and he plans to release others on other topics. How many of his competitors have done the same?

I'm surprised they haven't stashed her in an insane asylum. That's usually the method for those in a communist dictatorship who don't see the wisdom of Obedience to the State. Big Brother can pump her full of drugs, until she loves the Government.

And the police wonder why we hate them. (Who arrested her? Who is keeping her behind bars? It sure as hell isn't the judge!) Were the police only following orders? How did that excuse work for some others?

I would direct you to the study of great revolutionaries...

You will see that all of them share certain tactics, and use of nonviolent protest, at least in the beginning.

But before that can happen, we need a lot more PO’d citizens willing to stand.

People have lanquished in jail for years when held in contempt for disobeying a judges order. I understand that her path to freedom requires she issue licenses or order clerks to do so. Both acts offend he First Amendment rights.

But! We run a danger by relying solely on freedom of religion to preverve our right to refuse to do acts on grounds of conscience. A rstional athiest or agnostic should be able to refuse as Kim does on freedom of conscience grounds alone.

If we stay in religious objections they will further have reason to abuse the Kims of this country.

Well, the 1st amendment defense is the most obvious breach by the court. Job discrimination as the result of a religious objection without some effort to accommodate the objector by any entity should be a easy court case under normal circumstances.

But the scotus decision has thrown a wrench into what was a strained but still intact remaining part of our constitutional protections.

So yeah, we have to use it but there are other sections in the constitution that are violated as well and all of them need to be used as a legal matter.

As to further abuse od the Kim’s...You can count on it!

You will see the federal government through it’s courts, begin to force all churches that allow marriages and or holy matrimony services in their sanctuary’s, to afford that same privilege to any gay couple that asks.

This has already occurred in some of the UK and Europe.

This is all about religious and other freedoms. Marriage is one battle in the war that liberals are waging against the Constitution.

Or Jindal...

Bobby Jindal unloads on Donald Trump for not backing Kim Davis: “You can’t make America great again by throwing the Christians in jail.”

Jindal scored some points with that shot against The Donald.

But no one is PO’d enough about it to do anything. There is a breaking point; I don’t know where it is, but when it’s reached....hopefully it’s not too late. It may be already.

Yes, he did; we’ve been patiently waiting for Trump to show his true colors. Huckabee made some good points too.

Thanks for sharing this. It sheds light on a lot of the questions of the propaganda that the media has been broadcasting.

In a nutshell, what is happening is that she asked that her name be removed from the marriage licenses being issued. She does not want her name to be associated with this perversion. Essentially, the court is imprisoning her to force her to issue these licenses with her name on them. No other options allowed.

The picture of her walking with her hands in cuffs and legs shackled in chains was very touching. They want to humiliate her. I know is was probably embarrassed to show the cuffs, but she probably should have walked with the cuffs and the leg irons exposed for the whole world to see in this case. THEY ARE A BADGE OF HONOR!!!

Back in 1776, Continental President Rutledge ordered the King’s appointed governor of South Carolina to leave the state or die. He fled to an armed British slope sitting in Charleston Harbor. Rutledge appointed Col. Moultrie to set up a defense on Sullivan Island against the British armada. Long story short, the British Navy got its butt kicked.

It’s way past time for conservatives today to spend their fortunes, honor and time to kick ass against the criminal fascist syndicate occupying Washington.

Why arent all the civil servants/public officials who deliberately disobey federal laws by having sanctuary cities in jail too?

Because—Rules are only for conservatives and Christians, liberals can do anything they want.

Is there anything the citizens of the state can do against the judge?

This is just the beginning. Like Fort Sumter.
