Mr. Bunning speaks the words of a craven and ignorant fool.
For elaboration, go back through the threads and read the replies by “Hi Tech Red Neck” and by “Diamond”.
You could write her a letter maybe...
Yeah...I saw them...
What I am trying to say is that he’s no different then any fed judge or any judge, lawyer, even the rank and file Republican I have ever had knowledge of, except for judge Roy Moore of Alabama and many here on the forum.
In short, they are all craven and ignorant regarding the Constitution and believe it to be a “living document” amendable by the supreme court.
One thing that is absolutely clear to me, and should be taken into consideration on any actions we take in the future.
We can tear Washington DC down and send it all to the rubbish dump, and we can fire every judge, every politician and their staffs...But all we have done is to pick a scab on a diseased body.
It is the education system, from low to higher ed, the law schools, journalism schools and even the medical schools that we also have to take apart.
That is where the disease grows..prospers, and spreads.
“It’s a world gone crazy
Keeps Woman in Chains
It’s under my skin but out of my hands
I’ll tear it apart but I won’t understand
I will not accept the Greatness of Man
It’s a world gone crazy
Keeps Woman in Chains
So Free Her
So Free Her”~~~’Woman in Chains’ by Tears for Fears
Psalm 118:6:
The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Thank you PrairieLady2 for your kind and encouraging words!
I pray with you for Kim to receive strength in her spirit, but I am thankful for her, too, because she is strengthening many of us through her example of courage and faithfulness.
I am talking about his replies to reporters questions.
“Kentucky should just have civil union laws. Don’t even call it a marriage. A civil union can be anything. Why is the state even involved in marriage?
Marriage is a church institution.”
Civil unions would be the ideal remedy for this situation. They would give the homosexuals the legitimacy they need to collect government benefits.
However, the last line of your post holds the crux of the matter as far as homosexuals are concerned. All of the things that homosexuals say they want could be had with civil unions except the most important thing they want but won’t admit. The master they serve will have nothing less than to profane and defile what the Christian Church stands for at it’s very altar; thus sticking their virtual finger in the eye of the Almighty. The pastors who are performing the travesty of homosexual marriage in houses of worship are nothing more than Satan’s henchmen. They’re gathering souls for hell by the thousands by teaching their parishioners that it’s all for love.
Sounds like my parents. They were Dems because (1) their families of origin were, and (2) the union told them to be. But they were in no way liberal. Toward the end of their lives, it became more and more difficult for them to argue in favor of the sleaze that had crept into their party.
That's what happens when you take on the name identity of a particular party. They were married to the term "Democrat." It's also why I never call myself a Republican; rather I am a conservative. Whenever a Republican fails to be a conservative, that Republican has lost my vote.
I stand with Kim Davis!!
