When Obama banned Fox from riding on the press plane during his campaign or when he regularly bashes Fox from the Presidential bully pulpit, I don't hear any of the other MSM decrying Obama's treatment of Fox. In fact, they chuckle about it.
I have no problem with Trump firing back at Hewitt and any other member of the benighted MSM.
I wouldn’t call Hewitt a MSM. Is he “a Trump cheerleader”...heck no. But Trump has to do better with these gotcha questions than getting “outraged” and blacklisting the free flow of ideas, opinions, information, questions, etc.
IMO, Trump, Obama, anyone that may be in the spotlight has to toughen up and not look like a kid that “took his marbles and went home” just because he wasn’t “winning.”
What the other media do with Obama’s blacklisting is not really a concern of mine. Just because Obama gets away with the “pouty lip” demeanor, doesn’t mean it’s right. And when it begins to happen on a regular basis,IMO, that gives us a little preview of what Trump would be like as a President. I don’t think Obama’s actions are “Presidential” nor do I think Trump playing the same games is “Presidential.”
I don’t agree with that behavior in Obama, I don’t agree with it in Trump, or any other candidate for that matter.
I wonder if it’s dawned on Trump that he should be getting “tutored” on quite a few fronts, so he will have answers. Or at least learn to deflect questions you don’t know the answer to....I just hear Rush give one example of a question on foreign Heads of State that was asked as a “gotcha” to Reagan, and he turned the tables and answered it masterfully. Noticed in the article Fiorina would have been prepared for that question. At some point we’ve got to decide if bombastic behavior means you’re a leader or just arrogant.
