Catty? I don’t consider it “catty” to vote your principles. I had friends who claimed they were Catholic and even taught Sunday school who were pro-abortion. They used to boo the pro-life groups marching in the 4th of July parade. They are no longer our friends. Yes, they were dems.

The dem party hasn’t been pro-Christian for a long long time. Why was she running as a dem? Apparantly she wasn’t bothered by what the party stood for when she wanted to be elected to a government job. Now all of a sudden she has principles?

I think you’ll find that new Christians are often Democrats. Thats your missionary field right there.

When people become Christians, some things obviously change right away; their politics change more slowly. But they do change over time. They may not become Republicans, sad to say that party is becoming a shadow of what it once was. But they certainly do not remain orthodox Dems either.

This woman has proven that, in a choice between God and party, she made the right decision.

You sound ignorant of the history of that situation, all right.

A little charity until your ignorance is alleviated would be becoming.

It just so happens that this Democrat is the only one standing tall here. That is how God confounds the wise like you. When He moves, it most glaringly ain’t of man and that’s how you see things like Rahab the prostitute in the faith hall of fame.
