Couldn’t this be resolved by someone else at the courthouse issuing the licenses? A judge or another employee in the clerk’s office? That’s what’s happening in a local county here.
From what I understand, a local judge offered to do so. The homosexual couple refused, because they want the clerk to be forced to do it.
