Like I’ve been saying, Trump’s not the most electable because there are 30 years worth of video and print to mine for damaging quotes, flip-flops and the like. No other candidate has such a vulnerability.
Bush’s team did a good of putting together an attack in Trump’s own words here and the Democrats will likewise have a gold mine of material to work with to make Trump look unacceptable to the public in the general election.
This might be Cruz’s path to victory forming. The titans take each other out as Carson rises. But Carson lacks the gravitas in the states that aren’t heavily into nice guy social conservatives, and Cruz fills the role for people looking for someone who’s conservative and well-balanced on all the issues.
