Huge manhunt for three armed and dangerous suspects who shot cop dead

A massive manhunt is underway in a suburb north of Chicago after a police officer was shot dead while on a routine patrol.

Three armed and dangerous suspects, two white and one black, are at large after the cop was gunned down in Fox Lake, Illinois, at around 8am.

Authorities confirmed the officer died at the scene. WGNTV says he was shot in the head.

The cop, who is yet to be identified but is reportedly a 32-year veteran of the department, was found in a marshy area stripped of his gun and other equipment.

FBI and US Marshals are part of the huge the search which covers a vast area near Route 21 - a major highway connecting Chicago, which is around 60 miles south.

I wonder if binocular guy ever stood directly in front of and to the side of a rifle when discharged. It’s really loud from that position. Especially when your not ready for it. He probably would have fell off the roof.

Remember, only cops are highly trained in the use of firearms. We civilians are too stupid to know stuff like that.

Hey, where is the Freeper who scoffed at me when I said cops are targets whenever they are in uniform? Anybody out there care to walk around some of these cities in a police uniform and see how it feels to know many around you would kill you if they could?
