Thanks! I didn’t know that. When we built our present home, it didn’t have under boards, as I recall.

Actually Tyvek showing for years at a time is typical Maine contruction. Seeing this green siding is also not unusal. But this is just a work in progress.

Another Maine favorite is blue tarped roofs. Which also has been the standard for banks on pre-foreclosure houses to tarp roofs while waiting for repair or replacement approval. Approval that generally does not come for a couple of years. They are now using less intrusive brown tarps.
