In fairness, the identical apartments was probably so the kid would have familiar surroundings as he/she was transferred from group to group, which can be important when they’re young.

No. If I were super rich I would have many places exactly the same just to mess with people’s heads.

Kind of like fast food. The theory was if people could get the same food at the same place no matter where they are in the the world they would love it. Reality doesn’t work that way.
