Depending on the users, a parking lot usually generates a lot less traffic than a high-volume fast-food restaurant. Parking lots are usually filled for long periods of time, with a rush of inbound cars in the morning and outbound in the evening. The high rate of turnover in the restaurant generates a lot of traffic throughout a full day.
