You bet they did. Those that opted for money are going to end up with nothing. Lots of people get coupons and then forget to take them when they shop so I’m thinking that’s what they are banking on - send out lots of them, but a big chunk of them never turned in so no $ paid out.

Mother was a couponer. To forget to redeem a coupon was like a huge sin, heh. I learned to put such things in my wallet in front of the cash—can’t miss that one!

Good for you. I have a couple of acquaintances that won’t buy something unless they have a coupon for it and spend hours on the internet looking for coupons. They are obsessive about it and sometimes drive me crazy. Sometimes I think it’s more about the hunt than it is about saving money with them. I just shop at Dollar Tree and/or Kroger with my senior discount on Kroger brands.

She rarely shares anything with me except for her lizard friends which she has chosen to bring in the house with her this summer so she can have someone to play with, but you’re right.
