There’s a term for that: “pathological liar”

Truly, its time to end this buffoonery before the next election is handed on a platter to the Democratic nominee. Coalesce around Ted Cruz or lose this election. Truly, it is time people stop hyping a Ted Cruz who can't muster any support by the Republican voters - even before Trump showed up. You assume if there was no choice people would support Cruz by default? I am not anti-Ted Cruz - but I am shocked at how little support he has in the party's base outside of talk radio callers.

Lol. Just like libs, I’m not sure if even Mr. Semmens could caricature you Trump Derangement Syndrome types anymore.

This is my biggest problem with Trump supporters - rather than address the issue at hand, they stoop to ad hominem attacks and name calling.

It isn't necessary for someone to hate Trump or to support the GOPe to read Trump's previous comments or to look at his previous positions and actions and have serious doubts about him as a conservative. Perhaps his "evolution" to conservative views is sincere, but there is little by which to judge, other than by his words.

To me, it looks like the Trumpkins are the ones who believe in Hope and Change this election - they think Trump will change things, and they hope that the change will be in a conservative direction... But there is little in the way of actual actions to base such a hope on. I know many of you have chosen to set aside any doubts about Trump and ignore any contrary information that you see, and that is fine. But when you attack other conservatives who still harbor questions about his past and how that might determine his future actions, you don't win over any new supporters - you just insure that more people will stay home rather than vote for Trump if he were to get the nomination...

And the bank bailout, the auto bailout, and the stimulus? He changed his mind on those too? What has he not changed his mind on?*

At least he changed his mind. That’s more than you can say about the GOP that voted FOR IT.

How does this all work?

THe GOPe,Fox News and Univision, with Trump’s blessings, figured out if they attack Trump relentlessly the anti-establishment folks will support him?

So, Trump is really a slealth establishmentarian saying whatever will appeal to the anti-establishmentarians in order to get ellected? With the blessing from the Gope and RINO inc?

Do Trump they all meet up somewhere for drinks and couple laughs? Megyn says, “Donald, calling me a Bimbo was genius!”

Trump is a bit weird. Even now he’s totally unscripted. I saw him ask a woman in the crowd to muss up his hair just to prove it isn’t a toupee. She agreed that it’s his real hair.

How does that relate? He just goes off the top of his head. Certainly in the past, he didn’t think about some crafted soundbite to elucidate his policy positions as a candidate for the presidency.

So, my sense of many of his comments (even today) should be seen as he’s sometimes thinking out loud, sometimes just reacting, sometimes talking out his azz, and sometimes just playing around. I don’t think he was making policy prescriptions. For example, I can tell you how I would implement a national healthcare plan, even though it’s something I don’t believe in. I can tell you that I ‘wish’ everyone had some kind of health coverage.

All along, I really think the BEST idea is for everyone just to buy their own.

Yes, I have been.

There is a reason that Trump has 10 times the support as Cruz, and it’s not because I haven’t been paying attention to him.

He isn’t addressing the issues that matter to people.

And he hurt himself with stupid votes in the senate.

It is what it is.

Throw in his misunderstanding of the economic effects of immigration and free trade, and the current GOP front-runner is one confused man when it comes to the economy.

This shows me the author of this piece is another anti-American, globalist, traitor...Every one understands effects of immigration and unfair trade on the economy...

Some approve of the destruction of the middle class while people such as Trump and I oppose it...It's that simple...

“Every Republican wants to do a big number on Social Security, they want to do it on Medicare, they want to do it on Medicaid. And we can’t do that. And it’s not fair to the people that have been paying in for years and now all of the sudden they want to be cut.”

This is not even debatable...They ought to shoot any one who works to cut Social Security benefits...

TRUMP: Well, I think it’s noble, except I just don’t know how a country that’s in such debt — we are really a debtor nation right now, and I just don’t know how a country in this kind of trouble can afford it. It’s very — I love the idea, but can this country afford it? Will it destroy the country? Will it destroy other people that have been paying into health care for years? I mean, will that destroy other people? It’s a very, very tough situation. I love it from many standpoints, but can this country afford it? And maybe this isn’t the right time.

It is noble to want to take care of everyone...Trump knows it can't be done...I agree with Trump...

“Now, I did not know about a $700 billion bailout, in all fairness. And I think probably, it is something — it’s sad, but, probably, it’s something that has to get done, because your financial system is most likely going to come to a halt if it does not. So, it is a pretty sad day for this country.”

This in no way endorses Obama...Quite a hit piece you got going here...

Yes, that is true.

In my lifetime, 44 years, there has been exactly one conservative of consequence, Ronald Reagan.

Outside of him, conservatives and conservatism has been without consequence or achievement.

I don’t know why that is, but that is the way it has played out.

I could hold out and say oh I am not going to vote for anyone but a true conservative, no one else need apply.

But what are the chances of such a person being someone of consequence?

Almost zero.

So maybe I’ll go with someone with clear leadership skills in a field of people with none, and someone who is addressing the invasion of illegal aliens in a field of people who are not.

If the GOPe is behind Bush? and Fox is behind the GOPe? then where does that leave Trump? Is he the GOPe’s real choice? Maybe he is a Hillary plant? Or he is KGB? or maybe he really is a rouge candidate who doesn’t fit the uni-party mold?
That would explain why everyone, from the imaginary “both sides of the isle”, is doggy piling on him?
Because there is no “both side” but Globalist pushing Globalism?
They have to let Trump run but that doesn’t mean they won’t do anything and everything to destroy him. Since, he appears to not be destroying himself, but on the contrary, his poll numbers are growing?
Or, like i said Trump is a stealth establishmentarian and he has been their choice all along?
Cruz, Sessions, Palin are all being played? Or, maybe they are in on it,too?

Yep, me too.

I personally do not care if the damned GOP loses every seat it has.

It’s only consequence has been to give Obama everything he wants, apparently including arming Iran, and giving the middle finger to conservatives the whole time.

To Hell with them.

I still like Cruz, I just don’t think he’s going to get it done. Maybe I’m wrong, but so far it just isn’t working for him.

Walker is out for me for a host of reasons, but the main one is that he is a terrible campaigner.

Where did that come from? I guess one could say we have protected the Chinese economy by restricting our own economy with the highest tax rate in the developed world as well as mountains of costly restrictions and regulations.

( ignored your idiotic Mussolini and Nazi nonsense )

"Conservatism is stupid without conservative principals/ideology."

"Conservatism" is stupider when it plugs its ears and closes its eyes.

So what States is "Conservatism" going to flip? We already have the "Conservative" States locked up. We don't even know if a Conservative like Cruz would do better or worse than Romney if he were swapped in to 2012. And things have only gotten worse each and every day since then. In four years the population adds 10 million people plus an allegedly 3 million Illegal Aliens. The current electoral distribution ...

2012
Dumbo == 332 ... 65,915,796 ( 51.1% )
Romney = 206 ... 60,933,500 ( 47.2% )

This is what everybody should be looking at, particularly all the Trump haters. Gaze upon that map and tell us what purple states any of the 16 other candidates are going to flip: MI, PA, WI, IN, IA, OH, FL, NC. Also consider CO, VA, NM, NV. Those twelve are the ballgame. And I am having a hard time seeing how any of those other guys can touch more than one or two of them.

NOTE: Romney only managed to flip TWO of them: IN and NC for 26 electoral votes. The rest of the electoral difference McCain 173 versus Romney 206 came from redistricting from the 2010 census where "blue" states mostly lost electoral votes and "red" states mostly gained.

We are in serious dire straits. Those of you that think election night is a coin flip like 1988 have missed the news that 2.5 million people get added each year and the new voters are breaking against us. The only possible way to win this thing is to reach into the (D)ummycrats and pull out at least 5% of their votes. There is no evidence that says we have enough to do it alone.

Contrary to what Rush says, this is NOT a "Conservative" country anymore, not at the Presidential level anyway. In Presidential elections it is a media-driven, mega-financed, selfish country, with the sheeple voting "pocketbook issues", not ideology. At the Congressional, State and Local levels it breaks out Conservative in many places.

And before you make another mistake, NO, Reagan did not win because he was a Conservative. He won against Carter with just 50.8% of the vote on promises of Jobs, fixing the economy, the military, and restoring the American dream. And he did it so well that he won again in 1984 with 58.8% of the vote, massively stealing huge numbers of (D)emocrats.

And then the (R)epublicrat (R)INOs flushed it all down the toilet.

I’m voting for Cruz because WE lose if Trump or Biden wins. I don’t vote for liberals so I won’t vote for Biden or Trump.

So let’s just vote for Hillary and be done with it. If we’re going to get a liberal might as well be one who is at least honest about it, instead of the ones who vote like a liberal and then lie to our faces claiming to be conservative.

I have heard that before but I have never quite understood the logic behind the argument.

So if Donald Trump is too liberal I should vote for Hillary because she, too, is liberal? I'll pass.

I didn’t say Bush would get his votes. Like in Iowa when Romney and Gingrich blasted each other and Santorum ended up winning, a different candidate like Cruz may rise up from the ashes to win.
