Since Donald Trump unveiled his multi-step proposal on illegal immigration, establishment Republicans like Jeb Bush have hammered the package as too expensive and out of sync with conservative ideals.
Various price tags have been attached to Trumps proposals, some of them as high as $300 billion. Thats a tough pill to swallow for anyone who wants to see the federal government shrink, but the numbers tell a different story altogether.
A modest increase in enforcement (such as E-verify or visa tracking) would cause significant attrition in the illegal population, sending millions of illegals home on their own at no cost to the U.S. taxpayer, says Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies. Indeed, Vaughan is not alone in telling a very different economic story than weve heard from the mainstream media. Even Fox News has been caught trumpeting this myth about how expensive Trumps immigration plan would be.
None of them seem to take into account how much our current lackadaisical approach to illegal immigration is costing the country. According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, illegal immigrants are costing U.S. taxpayers more than $100 billion every year.
Unlawful immigrants, on average, are always tax consumers, they never once generate a fiscal surplus that can be used to pay for government benefits elsewhere in society, said Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation. Why would Republicans support a loose immigration policy that allows illegals a path to citizenship? Because they are tied to corporate interests who exploit Hispanic workers for their own profits, of course.
Establishment Republicans and Democrats are fighting for the same thing for different reasons. And none of those reasons have anything to do with whats best for American citizens. Even if Trumps plan cost as much as the most extreme evaluations predict, there are reasons to support it nonetheless.
Weve let the problem fester for decades; its no surprise that its going to be expensive to solve it. But sometimes you have to bite the bullet. We are losing our culture, our economy, and our security so big businesses can get cheap labor. Oh, sorry, because jumping the fence is an act of love. We are allowing the president of the United States to thwart congressional law so Democrats can win over the Hispanic vote.
Oh, sorry, because dreamers must dream or something. Its time to put our foot down as a country. If we fail to act now, America will not be the same place in another twenty years. Our long, slow decline will be crystallized, turning us into a third-world joke where the law is little more than a suggestion.
If its going to cost $300 billion to avoid that fate, then wed better start finding some liberal nonsense to defund. Shouldnt be too hard.
There is No Assimilation and this repulsive, evil government doesn't care as they are , in fact, giving American land that once belonged to Mexico' back to them much like the ridiculous idiot Jimmy Carter gave the Panama Canal to Panama, even though that nation wasn't in existence at the time it was built. These illegal immigrants and the Muslims fill the neighborhoods with their old culture they supposedly wanted to escape from , until our culture becomes the minority and we are pushed out.
Washington is the only place where increasing a million dollar budget to a million five when they wanted two million is a budget cut.
Where can they find taxpayer subsidized low cost labor?? It'll cost them billions!
NAILED it.
And bad as that is, wait until they take your means of defending yourself away while allowing the ‘dreamers’ and other outlaws keep theirs.
Fixed
E-verify...hah ha. Introduced in 1996 (the basic pilot program) to supplement I-9. By 2011, 4 states mandated all employers. Today? Almost 20 years later, my state has pending legislation.

Yea, that’s pretty much the game plan. And they’re playing it out in the UK.
A strong Immigration policy for the Democrat traitors that run this country is importing another 60,000 Syrian refugees. And then there’s TPP.
This thing is an entirely lost cause.
400,000 anchor babies more every year, estimated cost each to raise them until 18 years old is $350,000 each.
And maybe most on public assistance. Send Dual citizen Ramos back and let him pay for these invaders.
Germany, France and England would never allow this. Uncle Putz allows people to dedicate on us.
