I think it is a compliment too, but women and the bottom kissing things called “new man” want gentle and kindness to rule the day. I remember arguing for Pat Buchanan as President with a Bush supporter. The number one they kept coming back to was, he seems mean. Whether it be a defense atty, or POTUS I want mean and nasty. Same goes for prison guards, special forces, or Defensive tackle. They don’t have to beat their spouses and chew bottles, but on the job they strike fear in their opponents, and pride in their staff members.
