It has land ,people(workers), tech, natural resources, unlimited coal , gas ,oil, wood ,farmland. there is no need to trade with the rest of the world. the media has brainwashed all to be for trade when that is just a method the left is using to destroy America.

The word for such a nation is an autarky. The US might need some trade but my guess is we could be 95% self sufficient and maybe higher. We would have to rev up our steel and electronics sectors. Copy Japanese and Korean electronics for all I care. Reverse engineer them and make them on US soil with US workers with US made equipment and tools
