Shrug. People have the most astonishing fantasies at times. They often project those fantasies onto their fellow men. The former is a normal aspect of the human condition. The latter is also an aspect of the human condition, but a disordered one.

I strive not to be amused at the output of disordered minds, but to have compassion for the illness. I consider the conscious furtherance of tyranny and collectivism to be evidence of disorder, so I feel compassion for our resident troll population.
