Has anyone read how the speckle-faced murderer knew where the on-location news team would be? Either he followed them from the station in Roanoke to Smith Mountain Lake or someone inside let him know the time and place of the interview.

I live in Roanoke and I have a condo at Smith Mountain Lake. If the station didn't telegraph their upcoming whereabouts, it would be super easy to follow them. The station is located at a major interchange.
I hate this. My daughters knew the cameraman. I pray for their families and my town. I knew our president would push for gun control after this. This is the same town that he famously said "You didn't build that!"
I never thought the racial revolution would start here.
