The White House reacted to Donald Trumps suggestion on the campaign trail that teleprompters should be banned in America for presidential candidates, an allusion to President Obamas heavy use of the device while delivering speeches.
Is that something that would affect the president adversely? asked White House reporter Mark Knoller during the daily press briefing.
Earnest admitted that it was a difficult question to respond to but that each candidate should choose for themselves.

Is he standing on a step stool??
Trump’s call for no teleprompters is sheer brilliance.
He is calling for candidates to speak their minds and hearts.....not what speechwriters and advisors recommend they say in perfect sound bytes, gestures and cadence.
If you have core values, you can be consistent, and deliver it convincingly. Because you believe it.
I can’t say I’m A 100% Trump fan....but boy is he good at turning the conversation around. To where it should be! To things that everyone was too pussy-footing around.
Actually, nobody runs for president. Each candidate has a slate of Electors in each state pledged to them. Any intent to directly violate the 22nd Amendment would therefor require framing timbers to be erected aforethought in each state he needed for an EC victory. And even then, any such elector would individually be violating the Constitution, and no one who had the slightest respect for the Constitution would count votes for a third-termer as legitimate.A third-termer would do just as well to call off the election altogether as to try to win an election. People prattled about a Constitutional crisis during the winding down of the Nixon Administration, but it was never that. It would only be a constitutional crisis if the president had been impeached and convicted and refused to leave office. Which no one seriously proposed was in the offing.
