President Obama is having a hard time with the definition of free market.
The most recent example came from his remarks at the National Clean Energy Summit, an event hosted by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to promote solar power.
Obama told a crowd in Las Vegas that solar and renewables now make economic sense and blasted conservative think-tanks for being insincere when it comes to the free market. He said, Now, its one thing if youre consistent in being free market. Its another thing when youre free market until its solar thats working and people want to buy and suddenly youre not for it any more.

“Heres What He Got Wrong.” Uh, everything?
Hey. Just GFY zer0 you Marxist/Islamofacist phony!
Why did they not have the Solar Power worship service in Seattle? Lots of “Greenies” there!
Oh, right, it rains a lot and is CLOUDY in Seattle!
To such as Hussein, free markets mean that when the Guru proclaims what the future holds all the entrepreneurs must jump on the guru’s bandwagon or they be fools or thieves.
Why did they not host the “Windmills will save Our Planet” kumbaya fest on Martha’s Vineyard? Many of the Great & Powerful Who REALLY CARE about the EARTH (GPWRCAE) spend a good deal of time on Martha’s Vineyard.
Oh, right, NIMBY, led by the GPWRCAE, shot down the windmill farm 12 miles away!
Obama completely missed the conservative plan to power industry with baby seal skins and bovine flatulence.
What a dumb@ss. If I thought solar, or any other alternative energy could become profitable in a self-sustaining way, and if it could match mainstream energy sources in terms of cost and reliability, I'd be ALL for it. And I'd invest in it.
But for now, the only way that solar can compete is by government subsidizing it, or by government making its competitors more costly to producers and consumers.
