He’s being awfully open about the history, which is unusual for anyone who has been indoctrinated by company lawyers/HR in EEOC law. But good for him, he’s being honest instead of dodging. Nobody in the world could have seen any “red flags”, and you do the right thing and have the data to support your decision. I don’t envy him.
I feel for the station having to deal with this a-hole.
