Cruz has equivocated on whether it is in the Constitution or not. A few years ago he said it was in the Constitution and now he he is backpedaling. Cruz also said that it will take many, many years to change and we should focus on the border first.

This and Cruz's support of massively increasing H-1B visas make me think he's another stealth corporatist.

It took many, many years to change the definition of marriage, yet the liberals never gave up and did it. It actually ended up taking less time than they even thought.
Why are conservatives so impatient? You can’t win big victories in the short-term. And the most recent amendment actually passed pretty quickly I believe.
