It’s transparent too, at the edges, and there are dark things in front of it.

Chefs are not going to be persons of interest.

Second look and you appear to be correct. Some kind of reflection. Off of what and of what ain’t clear.

The white reflection looks like the rear body and wheel well of a pickup truck to me.

The striped thing may be a reflection, not an apron. It doesn’t conform to his body, and it fades away at the edges.

It's a reflection of mini-blinds in a window that faces the TV. The dark bump in the lower right is the shadow of a head blocking the rest of the mini-blinds from view in the reflection. The other squarish items are probably on an end table near the sofa. This image was taken from someone getting a picture off the TV, and at an angle to allow for the reflections. The actual camera shot doesn't show any reflections.
