Our nation desperately needs a seminal change in congress.
First institute term limits.
Second each state must institute a procedure for recalling a Senator or Representative if that individual is not acting in the interest of the people of his/her constituency.
Third make a simple change to Article 1 of the constitution, add a sentence to the second paragraph of Section 2 and 3rd paragraph of Section 3 to the effect that the pay and expenses for these legislators shall be paid by the state which they represent. Making them beholden to the people of their state might just have an effect on their votes.

Lawyers as aides to office holders, NOT Office holders..
AND........ START HANGING PEOPLE FOR TREASON.. sedition and espionage..
The liberal voters I meet are so brainwashed that it comes down to a simple, ‘Voting D is good’, all else is bad.’ If the dem candidates call themselves socialists, then socialism must be good and those who oppose it must be bad. They will feel the same for fascism and communism. They probably won’t ever figure it out or will be too proud to admit the mistake. Will just sit in the labor camp waiting for food and orders.

Fascism is the political manifestation of the period of economic history known as monopoly capitalism. If you don’t first understand that, you’re spinning your wheels.
I was surprised that one of the posters, John Adams, did not know the difference between a Democracy and a Republic.
I don’t want to be mean to libertarians, but many of them don’t have a clue about America’s constitutional Republic and it’s required Western ethical and moral culture of self governance. They know Ayn Rand ideology. She was a social Marxist that promises the demise of a free Republic like our America once was.
And Bob is wrong about the politicians working “for the government.” They work for Corporate and foreign government donors and pay masters. The government employees work for themselves. We agree that the American people and America are no where to be seen in this mess.
