I can’t help but wonder that the Duggar sisters think “what did Anna NOT do to keep Josh happy?” Given Michelle Duggars maternal advice “any one can make a sandwich, but only the wife can....” Leads me to believe the married sisters are angry at Anna (and worried about their own marriages).
What keeps me drawn to this train wreck story is Anna Duggar herself. My own daughter had a baby girl a week before AD delivered, and my daughter is going thru hormone changes, lack of sleep, etc. and this poor girl, Anna, has the world (and truly weird inlaws) breathing down her back too.
I wouldn't put it past them. I think their religion pretty much places part of the blame on the wife.

Congratulations on your granddaughter, Pennsylvania Mom. :)
I can't imagine what the poor girl must be going through. Even if she wants to take the kids and go back to her parents' house, I could see JimBob and Michelle trying to talk her out of it for the sake of appearances, or family unity, or whatever.
You expressed my thoughts exactly. I don’t know anything really about the Duggars but they seem to follow a ‘pattern’ of child rearing and family life. It is not exclusively Christian or evangelical. Is it Bill Gotthard’s program? I pray that their family can and will recover from all this and that hopefully those young couples will find a more balanced Biblical way to live and relate, free in Christ.
