In a related thread, an anti-Trump author complained that Trump’s mass deportation plan will cost $165 billion plus or minus a couple of billion. (I don’t remember the exact figure.)

How awfull! /s

But to put the $165 billion into perspective, not only is it a drop in the bucket compared with the trillions that the currupt Washington cartel has scandalously put the country into debt for, but also consider the following.

How much are the unconstitutional federal welfare services that the post-17th Amendment ratification Senate is helping the House to provide for 11 million illegals costing taxpayers per year? I suspect that Trump’s $165 billion to send them home might prove to be a bargain in the long run with respect to what it is costing taxpayers to let them stay in the USA.

Insights welcome.

Your point is well taken.

That’s precisely why Scott Walker’s been taking funding away from Leftist institutions and Democrat bosses.

Money is what fuels their power.

Covered in other threads and yeah, we’ll make that back in about 2 years after cutting the illegals off the dole.

And how was that figure arrived at? I submit someone pulled that number right out of their *ss.

Is that number applied to ASSUME in what it would take to physically round them up and move them?

I remember a President who did nothing about those who were held hostage by the Islamists in Tehran. Then came along Reagan who told them straight out that unless they released them, we were coming to get them. So what happened the day of his first inauguration? The credibility of his words caused other to act.

I will submit that knowing the gig is up, they will start to self deport in very large numbers rather quickly and those who hire them will start issuing under the table pink slips as well, knowing the enforcement of e-verify is coming at them like a speeding train. Wouldn’t it be novel that we, the taxpayers, actually start to receive something we are paying for anyway?
