When I was in Warsaw recently I visited the Museum of The History of Polish Jews.
What was refreshing about it, it that it is NOT about the Holocaust, but the life Jews had in Poland before.
Of course there are plenty of museums and commemorations in Poland for the Shoah, but it’s great to see the Poland, and Europe can finally see that there was a rich culture there, and what a tragedy it truly was that it was wiped out forever.
There’s a Jewish museum in Amsterdam that is devoted largely to pre-war Jewish life and culture as well.
