A woman in a minivan is not at all happy with Bethany Campbell’s massive poster, which shows the bloody detached head of a fetus and reads “Choice is Abortion.”
“Little kids do not need to see that picture,” the minivan lady shouts over traffic noise at a busy intersection in Ann Arbor.
“Yes, they do,” says Campbell, a blonde 25-year-old from Saline who says she’s worked as a nurse, and that while she’s been “pro-life my entire life,” this is her first time actually coming out to a protest against abortion.
“For me, this is outside my comfort zone,” Campbell explains after the minivan drives off. “I’m not a person that likes conflict or confrontation. But this is something I’m super passionate about. It’s so easy for us to…close our eyes and not look at the videos of Planned Parenthood, because it’s too hard for us to stomach.”
There’s been more than one shouting match between drivers and the 200 or so protestors lined up outside one Planned Parenthood in Ann Arbor.
“F—k you, you piece of s—t,” one young guy in a University of Michigan hat yells to a man holding the same sign as Campbell.
“You should thank your mom because she chose life!” the protestor responds.
But every few minutes, another car honks as driver waves in support of the protestors.

Fairly recently, film of more lesser known German concentration camps have been shown (on public TV, no less); some with names I’d never heard before. The film from those camps at that time were deemed “too stark” for public consumption AT THAT TIME. (People’s “innocence” and all that.) The films were HORRIBLE beyond human belief! - My father was an American Army combat soldier in North Africa, Sicily, Italy & finally, Germany. He stated to me that in one of the camps he saw a line of piled-up dead bodies one-eighth of a mile long. I reckon the Allies had overrun the Nazis so quickly that they hadn’t had time to incinerate the visual proof of their inhumanity. - Daddy had always said that he felt some sympathy for the common German soldier who didn’t want to be there; but was forced to be there or die. However, he detested the German officers, especially the one who brutally shot his CO in the legs with a machine gun AFTER his CO was already badly wounded & was almost dead anyway. - Lord! Lord!
In Fort Worth the Edna Gladny Home {orphanage} is directly next door to Planned Parenthood.
What is it, specifically, about the videos that makes them controversial?
Two clear illegalities here: profiting from organ trafficking, and altering the timing and method of the abortion procedure to get the largest, most intact salable "product." Both in violation of Federal law.
Plus vague or even absent consent from the aborting mother.
Plus the fact that the PP people are so nonchalant about it. A product line, an income stream.
Ghouls.
