Regarding the property tax proposal, liberals have been upset that businesses have benefitted from Proposition 13, the property tax law setting property taxes at 1% of assessed values , and limiting annual increases in property taxes.

The liberal view has been that businesses “should” pay more. Honestly the property tax limitn is one of the few tax benefits California businesses have. Take that away, and many more businesses will have even more incentive to shut down or move out of state.

Most states are trying to incentivize businesses with lower taxes. Here in California we are trying to send them to other states.

As Ronald Reagan said:

BUSINESSES DO NOT PAY TAXES!!!!!!

The consumer pays those taxes in the price of doing business with that company.

That simple fact is totally ignored by Democrats.

all that is needed is stop support for illegals. that amounts to over 25 BILLION per year. however, the idiots in sac need illegal votes and they also need to keep people on welfare to insure they are wanted.
