I heard wounded, one Marine and one Brit soldier etc. Nothing about a restaurant and they would not have already given them medals either. Very confusing.

Looks like the guy shot was the attacker.
At least one of the guys was Oregon Army National Guard according to the article.
And they already gave them a medal? They must have those things in their pockets.
