The GOP Establishment would rather lose the White House than lose their positions and power.

Note to GOP: Pull that shit and you will be banned from my finger at the polling place. Hey, I’m serious about this.

"The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do it
And THAT would guarantee a third party run by Trump...
By the way.....Rove is like a fish that knows well the water he swims in but nothing more.....
MHO.....

Make my day, GOP......Trump’s polls would go up 10%, and he would be no longer obligated to participate in a process where he is probably weaker than most career politicians and where the chances of a screwup are greater than in his own orchestrated events.

That’s exactly what will happen if they diss Trump. The GOPe, and the party will be dead, and that I will cheer. They really are that stupid, it’s their trademark. It’s past their expiration date.

It would be suicidal stupidity to ban Trump (and I don’t like him seeing a number of better choices IMO).

screw them! Trump should hold his own debate.
(this is a trial balloon probably)
They shut him out and you are going to have a lot of very pissed people who have just been given further proof that they all have got to go!

With Trump at a debate EVERY GOP candidate gets a few million extra eyes on him... They'll never give that up. Why would they?

Right.
Trump is way ahead in the polls of Republican presidential candidates.
Trump is drawing huge crowds at speaking events when, for instance, the presumptive Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton can't draw flies.
Trump gives Fox huge TV debate ratings.
But the GOP establishment, the lame stream media, and Trump-bashing-morons posing as conservatives (some of which post right here on FR) continue to want to shut him down.
Ted Cruz is my candidate. He is clearly brilliant, and is the most consistently true to the Constitution of any candidate out there. But Cruz has got to get past the GOPe --- a formidable task --- before he can challenge the Democrat candidate with the chance then to reverse all of the great harm that Obamaism has wrought to America.
In that regard I'm thoroughly enjoying Trump fearlessly bloodying the GOPe and the lame stream media (now including Fox), and in a best case scenario, running interference for an ultimate Cruz presidency.
I don't think we have the body of information on Trump's complete politics, but it certainly can't be worse then the legions of RINO candidates such as Jeb, Christy, Kasich, etc., as well as any Democrat, should the Trump candidacy actually prevail.

Conjecture to try to get those who like what Trump is doing to experience the same panic the Left/GOPe/RINOs are experiencing....
If they want to insure Trump skyrocket's to a romp, they will try it...

Hahaha ... So trump will buy airtime on cable and internet at the same time as the debates and spend 2 hours talking directly to the people or answering questions and be more watched and get more press... this is a stupid stupid ploy

Meanwhile the Brainworks of The Party(tm) continue to drink all the milk/whiskey, eat all the apples, and soil the sheet in the Farm House.... as usual.
