The mainstreaming of looting is a logical end state of the Black Lives Matter movement. It is no longer SNAP/TANF/EBT, it is just take what you want. As long as you take it from Walmart and Target ... today. The mom and pop stores come next year.

...the distribution of police resources to areas with high numbers of misdemeanor crimes can bring low income or people of color into frequent contact with law enforcement...

After all, everyone knows the police are needed more in areas with LOWER numbers of crimes...

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
John Adams

Why is this so difficult for some to understand and or accept?

Does this apply to the bookstore too? Free textbooks, free computers, free whatever you want, just take it.

Thieves don’t just steal merchandise and money.

They steal your freedom.

Let’s say a thief breaks into your house and steals your $1000 TV.

If you are making $20 an hour, you worked 50 hours to get that TV.

That’s 50 hours that you could have spent fishing or working on the lawn, but in order to buy that TV, you sold 50 hours of your freedom. That’s a choice that we make. Now, you have to give up another 50 hours of freedom to get another TV.

So, when the thief grabs your TV, he is also grabbing your freedom.

And it is the same for thieves stealing from stores or the businesses they work for or the government.

Thieves are tyrants. They steal your freedom. They should be treated like tyrants.

Let this dumb-ass administrator open her home up to BLM and give them room to loot and burn.

It isn’t any of his freaking business what stores and local police departments do to enforce shoplifting laws. It is hard to believe that these people actually have college degrees. Thanks affirmative action.

I am having flashbacks to being 12 years old and watching looters on TV during the New York City Blackout.

“This is God’s way of giving us an opportunity to get EVEN with THE MAN!” was the cry of nearly every one of them.

Going by the Administrator’s logic if he has insurance and a student gives him a beating, the student shouldn’t be arrested.

He’s absolutely right. Police shouldn’t prosecute shoplifters... that’s what we have prosecutors for. Arresting them is the police’s job.

Ignorance on parade.

I would suspect that this barely literate spokesman grew up as a thief and condones theft.

"I just don't think that they should be prosecuting cases ... for people who steal from Wal-Mart. I just don't think that, right?"

I would be willing to support that view IF Wal-Mart Security is permitted to shoot to kill on sight without exposure to prosecution.............
