RE:”Is Trump wrong?”

Iraq is a Hong Kong in the Middle East now thanks to George. I plan on vacationing there in the fall.
GWB and Cheney kept us safe.

What a pitiful state were in when the Hussein Brother’s rape rooms are preferable to what we actually have. The Rape Rooms were confined to some specific location. Now all of Iraq, much of Syria, Lybia, et al. are rape rooms and Christianity is all but extinct in the ME. There we have it. The Hawks either didn’t know the extent of Rat treachery or they didn’t care.

I recall Condi Rice on some Sunday show smiling and saying “Of course Speaker Pelosi wants what is best for America.” The nuns and priests in the ME provide testimony that such unqualified optimism is life threatening.

Trump is a little bit wrong. Hussein did more than kill terrorists. He paid terrorists’ families 25,000 for every suicide attack in Israel, He murdered thousands of Kurds, he was working with France, Russia, and Germany to remove sanctions so he could seek WMD, and his sons were waiting in the wings. All of that, but Trump is still correct that we, and the rest of the world, including Iraqis and Kurds, were better off with Saddam.

Trump probably needs to “stay on message” and stop changing the message

"he wouldn't even use his 90% approval rating to open ANWR" Bush didn't have the authority to open ANWR because it was/is covered by a Congressional moratorium.

Two points on that. First of all, he was just 2 votes shy in the Senate, but did not exert any pressure. Secondly, he could have used national security to override environmental blocks in ANWR, just as he did to override them to build double-layer border fences in 2007.

Yes and no. Being there in Fallujah meant we brought the fight to Al Queda and kept them off our shores. Then again I agree Iraq should not have been our first stop.

"Secondly, he could have used national security to override environmental blocks in ANWR, just as he did to override them to build the double-layer fences in 2007."

Bush didn't have anything to do with overriding the environmental blocks on the border fence. That was done by Congress, in 2005.

The waiver from enviro regs on the fence was included in the Real ID Act, which was added as an amendment to the defense supplemental spending bill in 2005. Then Congress would pass the Secure Fence Act in 2006.

RE:”Oh God, the “I voted” fingers, lol, those were the days. “

Thanks for the ping.

Looking back a few hours I am sorry that I didnt play the loyal Bush-bot in response to more of the comments here for fun.

But I still can tomorrow.

I love repeating idiotic arguments in satire that I got in the past.

Recall the time when I came close to being knocked off for saying what Trump is now saying on Iraq and GWB, Trump now being praised by the few remaining Bush-bots here.

It would be fun if some AH tries to throw that 2010 link in my face now.
