Clinton Lawyer Says Her Email Server Was Wiped Clean By STEPHEN BRAUN
WASHINGTON Hillary Rodham Clinton's personal lawyer has told a Senate committee that emails and all other data stored on her computer server were erased before the device was turned over to federal authorities.
In a letter sent last week to Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, attorney David Kendall said the server was transferred to the FBI on Aug. 12 by Platte River Networks, a Denver firm hired by Clinton to oversee the device. The Senate committee made Kendall's letter public on Tuesday. In exchanges with reporters earlier this week, Clinton said she was not aware if the data on her server was erased.
Federal investigators, prompted by a request from the inspector general for the State Department, requested custody of the server to learn whether the data stored on it was secure. NBC News has reported that an FBI team is now examining the server. Forensics experts told The Associated Press this week that some emails and other data may still be extracted from servers even after they are supposedly expunged.

Isn’t destruction of evidence a felony?
That belongs to the people not Hillary
Sure....assuming that's the original HD in the unit. Bet it's not.
Only for Republicans.
What company and specific person(s) wiped the server clean?
Did this company and or person have security clearances to wipe the server?
On who’s instructions wwas the server wiped?
If we see dead bodies turned up with mysterious causes, then we know Camp Hillary is doing mop up operation.
Simply wipe HER private server is not that smart.
I see how this going to play out. Hillary states doesn’t know if server was was wiped or not. She gave it to her server company. Oh gosh, they must have wiped it clean. Of course, someone at that company has been paid great sum of money or threatened to keep quiet or take the fall.
Wasn’t it getting dusty, and in need of a good wiping?
Only if you are a citizen/little people thing.
Well of course she did — how else could she prove there was nothing incriminating on there?
And besides, the average criminal can usually only find one niche. Hillary has no clue about internet, she is best at foul play.
Did he say if it was wiped with a cloth???
I still can’t get over Hillary making snarky comments about wiping the server with a cloth. There are serious legal.and national security issues involved here, and her response is snark. This from the smartest woman in the world.
Do I have a sign in my yard......
It probably went down like this. The lawyer read some emails and said, “Okay, this is evidence of about 50 prosecutable crimes. We’ll erase the evidence and, even though that’s a crime its a much lessor crime than these emails indicate. We’ll then be able to claim you never committed a crime and the only reason this erasure is an issue is because the evil Republicans are attacking you politically. We’ll call out the AstroTurf to riot on your behalf and this will eventually go away.”
They are trying to say, “It was wiped clean for legally virtuous reasons. WE gave you everything relevant.”
Obviously, that means they hid what they thought was damaging. I’ve been in some civil litigation where games were played, but they were nothing compared to the bald in-your-face BS the Clinton camp puts out and the stiff-arming of the Court and Congress they engage in.
Not if you are a Clinton!
Well where are all those emails coming from then????
Do you talking heads really think the people are that stupid or do you think your that stupid that we would even begin to believe you????
Ignorance is no excuse for the law and possession is nine tenths of it. The Harridan knew damn well what she was doing was illegal.
