Americans broadly support providing federal funding for free womens health exams, screenings and contraception services, a Reuters/Ipsos poll has found, suggesting that Republicans could be in risky territory if they continue criticizing Planned Parenthood as a key part of 2016 campaigns.
Support for federal funding of Planned Parenthood itself to provide those womens health services was even stronger, according to the Reuters/Ipsos released on Wednesday.
The non-profits image has taken a hit, the poll found, after an anti-abortion group earlier this year began releasing videos purporting to show Planned Parenthood officials negotiating prices for aborted fetal tissue.
Of the participants who had seen the videos, 44 percent said their views toward Planned Parenthood had become more negative.
Still, the strong support for federal funds to help Planned Parenthood provide screenings, pregnancy tests and prenatal services indicates Republican presidential candidates should tread carefully addressing the issue on the campaign trail.

I wonder why? Could it be that News Corporations/Executives Have Deep Ties to Planned Parenthood?
Inquiring minds...
Even PIGS at the slaughter house are dispatched with a gentler approach.. than those damned babies..
And alas the baby is "damned" once a mommy walks into a Planned Parenthood Aboratorium..
WHAT THEN?:...... well then they cut up the babys into marketable pieces and open the BIDDING for the MEAT..
Don't worry it's givernment inspected, you know, the MEAT..
.......IT'S A LAW.......
Federal funding for free womens health exams, screenings and contraception services are one thing, abortions are another whole different ballgame. Polls can be worded to get the desired effect by whoever is conducting the poll. I would venture to say that over half of the people in this poll don’t have a clue about the truth of Planned Parenthood. There are free clinics all over the United States that provide free health care to women. PP on the other hand concentrates on one thing primarily, abortion.
How many times do we have to explain to these idiots that ANY money they give to PP is supporting abortion because MONEY IS FUNGIBLE. It doesn’t matter what it says on the box you send it to, it all ends up owned by the same organization and that most definitely means it is used to kill babies.
Then let THEM pay for it.
The a-holes.

Well, this American doesn’t support funding those baby butchering murderers. Murder is illegal and desecrating a corpse is also illegal. Every one of those involved should be tried for murder or conspiracy. No holds barred and jail time to follow. I have absolutely NO MERCY for those people.
how was the poll question worded? It matters!
It would almost be acceptable to provide some means-tested, limited funding, so long as there’s a strict prohibition on PP performing abortions of any kind, under which anyone who flouts that law would be guilty of a felony crime.
Any one of these services can be provided by your Primary care doctor and Who in their right mind would trust PP to read a thyroid test accurately, when many Primary doctors can’t. Takes an Endocrinologist to be accurate for that.

Republicans would be in danger if they didn’t cut funding from these murderers.
Do you support or not support the US government giving funds to help Planned Parenthood provide screenings, pregnancy tests and prenatal services for women's health?
Laughable, since Republican opposition is NOT about that.
The pollsters know that, of course, hence the question to get the desired answer.
Free Health Screenings? I heard that despite thousands of locations all of PP has something like FIVE mammogram machines in their possession.
I think it sadly just reflects the growing new majority opinion that health care is a RIGHT and should be FREE.
Emily needs to define what she means by “Americans”, ‘cuz this “American” doesn’t think pp should exist, let alone be subsidized.
