I don't understand the problem. Firstly, I almost never said "boys and girls" when I was teaching... but secondly, and much more pointedly, we are constantly told that these trans-gender persons identify SO much with the other gender that they need to surgically change their bodies so that they can live as the other gender... but no matter which direction they are changing, they DO identify with one or the other... so that "boys and girls" would not exclude anyone anyway.
As usual, raging against the 99 percent because they cannot stand themselves.
