Here in NM we train plague fleas to kill mutant lice... had to do something once they outlawed cockfighting.

OK. I’ll say it.
They come here as an act of love.

Spot on. Old remedies are still the best. Eats straight through the buggers though it’s not the best smelling of stuff.
I never had to get treated with it, but I remember my uncle talking about my cousin getting that treatment. Curious if the vegetable was even needed though.

Hey now.
Sometimes I hate my hair but not enough to burn it down!!!
Besides, these are mostly coming from the invaders from the Third World Countries, who only want to share the love, Jebbie tells us about (along with whooping cough, measles, polio and drug resistant TB!)

Boric acid, diatomaceous earth, and Vic’s vaporub.
The pesticides kill you before they’ll kill any insect.

My best result comes from cheap hairspray. Shellack the kid’s hair with it (like use the full can), leave it on for an hour or two and shampoo out. I figure it traps the adults and suffocates bugs and eggs at the same time. It has worked three times for me with girls whose hair was waist-length and thick. The hairspray is maybe a couple dollars a can, or less on sale. The cheaper and stickier the better.
