nobody has to support anyone of the candidates. this is a really good article that explains a lot of the support for DT. It’s a very good read.
Trump calls politicians stupid because pointing out how corrupt they are would be over the top.

He can’t backstab us any more than the GOPe does, and with Trump we get entertainment.
Being a businessman rather than a politician, at least we know that Trump understands the need for customer satisfaction. He may not always deliver, but he does perceive the necessity.
Trump is an unabashed proud American, and has been forever.
8 years of constant trashing of this nation, and a degradation of its prestige and traditions, here you have a candidate that is speaking about America first.
People want to love America again, and feel like we are special as Americans. That is the #1 issue in people’s minds, like in 1980, not whether candidate X had the most conservative positions on everything the longest.

We don’t really trust him. But he is accomplishing many useful ends for us.
- Making the GOPe wake up and soil their diapers each morning.
- Keeping their slime tactics at bay with the threat to go third-party
- Raising immigration to the top issue and pretty much short-circuiting any attempts to pass amnesty
- Smacking the media around in a way they’ve had coming at least since the 70’s.
- Putting “Make America Great Again” out there as a theme like has not been done since Reagan
At the end of the day Trump is not all that conservative, but if he forces the GOP to come in a distant third with some RINO candidate, so that they go away like the Whigs, it definitely serves our long-term interests.
The Dems only have 48% of the vote because every GOP candidate since Reagan has been too arrogant to reach out to the working class.
Trump is all over the map politically if you look back over the years. What he is, is a pro-American nationalist which is not the same thing as a conservative.
But a lot of people are ready for a pro-American nationalist, including a lot of Democrats.
So while Cruz is the real thing, Cruz is the guy who we really need, Trump is the guy who is able to make himself heard over the media noise machine. I’m of the opinion that Trump actually helps Cruz by being such a lightning rod, and Cruz’s numbers are going up. I hope I’m right.

Are you kidding. Beck is one of a rare few who understands the commie left and their various tactics and fronts. Plus he gets the info out in a very effective way. Hannity doesn't know squat compared to Beck when it comes to this subject.
I don’t trust Trump on a lot of issues but he’s right on immigration and it is of such crucial, existential importance that I’m willing to fight him on other points where need be just to get immigration right.
Guess it will be Hillary or some other rotten Democrat for you. Trump is different but for the most part what he will do will rebuild America faster than anyone else. Cruz would do it but at a snails pace. America can't wait that long.
I think the thing that I’ll remember most from that interview is Hannity’s saying that he doesn’t care what Trump said in the past. Anyone with a brain knows that the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior.
Trumpites have become an embarrassing lot. Coulter’s tweeted remark makes me wonder if she would have promised to give Bubba a Lewinsky in the White House if he’d made this same promise. She’s jumped the shark for me, and others are getting close.
Beck is an embarrassment. But he can still identify a liberal from 100 yards away.
We also know once elected, he won't sit down and whine about how he is only 1/3 of the government. In his world, results are how one is measured. The most attractive feature though is that he smacks the press around. That too is a very good thing.
