Why do polls show that racial relations have gotten much worse under Barack Obama, who won the White House with over 95% of the black

Hanson uses the long, wordy way to state everything. He's a great researcher and a solid analyst, but a headache-inducing prose stylist.
Jessie Jackson, at one time acknowledged that quite a bit of the problem was in the Hood. No more. Do the Hood Rats compete with the immigrants for jobs? If all the illegals were suddenly removed from the scene, would the unemployment numbers from the Hood improve?
Most people I talk to...think race relations are worse than 60%..not good.
Anyone with any sense...black, white, red, brown...can see.
He's been the worst President ever....for many reasons.
Race relations has been a total failure!!
Interesting question. Say that every illegal immigrant currently working in the U.S. was deported. Say that the border was secured to the point that additional illegal immigration was statistically insignificant. Say that we still have minimum wage laws that price a lot of labor far above its market value.
I predict a surge of innovation in automation technology, rather than a surge in employment of our presently-unemployed minority/youth population. On the other hand, I also predict a surge in employment and an increase in wages for skilled citizen workers, especially in the construction trades.
Agreed.
Fair assumption. Also, say entitlements that subsidize indolence will continue to make entry into the labor force an unattractive alternative for many.
I think that one place where illegal immigrants are really making an impact in the labor market is in jobs such as construction and restaurant work: skilled jobs that pay above minimum wage, but in which the illegals save employers money because of their lower standard of living and the elimination of government add-ons to the basic wage.
There’s also an impact as sub-minimum-wage providers in areas such as agriculture and cleaning, but, in the conditions I imagined above, those workers would be replaced by automation rather than by native (non)workers who have the option of staying in school indefinitely or going on welfare.
Bingo. One element is the supply of below-mandated-wage illegal workers, but another element is the benefits and the long-term schooling that prevent citizens from working in jobs nobody does unless it's a survival necessity.
Community organizers don’t build up anything. They destroy mutual confidence in order to gain fake power for the “oppressed.” Only, the black community sees that it is more powerless than ever after this community organizer has done his work.
Like Hanson stated, visiting the comments sections of many big city on line papers concerning a crime committed by a black person reveals quite a few people who make less than charitable or sympathetic comments about black people. I think it has become much more difficult for the lib media to fool the average American about the levels of black crime.
I don't know if Colin Flaherty's name is known beyond more than ten percent of the adult population. But the fact that people like Flaherty are brave enough to defy the lib media judges and jury concerning race relations and print the many stories about black crime leads us to believe the situation is getting worse.
It was by design - part of the “Don’t let a crisis go to waste” meme and the willingness to manufacture crises to leverage.
They answer for their crimes every day as they murder each other at a much higher rate than they murder non-blacks; they’ve become increasingly marginalized and irrelevant, and have increasingly less interaction with non-blacks with every passing day.
Libs that have tired of blacks complaining simply push abortion to eliminate them (while pushing open borders to replace them).
Bkmk
They ALL think that; that is why the same white libs will fight to the death to keep abortion legal.
