Few people have seen the parallel to Theodore Roosevelt either in time, conditions or style. Those that think of it only see Teddy as a populist. He was a populist and he was popular because he promoted American Exceptionalism to a people who wanted it.
I was not referring to his populism. I was referring to TR going after the Trusts.
