As aside note, I watched several games yesterday...

Did they pass out the yellow flags to the refs before the game ?

I saw some really blatant penalties and... crickets

I know it's preseason, but if players are getting away with obvious penalties that aren't called, what's going to happen in the real season...?

On field there will be a Yellow ticket parade

First of all, she is not a coach yet. She is an intern trying out for the team. Second, they were literally gushing about her on the news last night and the newsblonde actually said, “She has experience playing the game!” And I thought, “ Really? She has experience getting hit by a couple of 300 pound NFL linemen? You don’t say.”

Yup. It’s like a man trying to teach women how to breastfeed their children.

You honestly believe that?

Well then we should ask why there are no women NFLnplayers? Why no women in baseball? Why no women on the NBA? Why is there a separate women’s basketball league? Why do schools and colleges have sex segregated sports and how is that permitted in this liberal age we live in now???

You're talking about officiating a game, not playing it. Officials need good judgement, physical fitness, attention to detail, knowledge of the rules, and the ability to think and react quickly. Are you saying women are incapable of that?

No I’m not saying women are incapable at all. I was expanding the discussion to involved why women are not in our professional sports as players.

“Why no women in baseball? “

- There’s no crying in baseball!

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

And at no point have I suggested that they do that. But there is no reason why they can't officiate in professional sports if they are qualified. And as for coaching, well, Arizona must see something in Welter that most don't. The NFL is a business and teams won't take chances on damaging their product.

Men act different when women are there.

This is the final ruin of football.

When women enter a profession, men leave.

The NFL is so cravenly PC it’s not even fun to watch anymore.

Prefer college.
