“Can he be trusted? That is the open question we must answer.” ———
It is a decent and obvious question for conservatives to ask, regarding Trump.
I believe it is worth the risk, understanding that Trump is a product of the Northeast, decent as a kid, from a decent and hard working family, but who is nothing if not secular. If we can understand that he is practical to a fault (thinking of his uninformed, or nonchalant view of Planned Parenthood’s “other services” than abortion, that are helpful to poor women) his goals are a restoration of our military, our economy, our borders, our jobs and reform of our corrupt government.
The other candidates, whom we do trust, do not have the force of Donald Trump to break the CoC grip on our republic, nor the power to ram through anything, and they can not attract the minorities who are already casting an interested eye on Trump. He is a motivator for many blacks who are anxious to get behind him.
These developments are astounding for the hope he brings to minorities, along with Dr. Carson, and they spell danger for the Democrats, especially Hillary.
The other candidates, whom we do trust, do not have the WILL of Donald Trump to break the CoC grip on our republic,
There...fixed your statement to read correctly.
Worth repeating.
I have asked several posters who support Cruz, (1) how they think he can win and (2) how they think he will be successful, if elected, with the full force of a Congress that hate him and the media attacking him 24/7. I have not, as yet, received a response.
He is becoming a “real” candidate. This is a man who has undertaken some of the largest and most expensive private projects on the planet and through sheer grit, determination and intelligence has made them happen. Trump is not someone easily dismissed.
The trust factor is fundamental. If he can overcome this concern he is a winner.
