I'm sorry, but I'm not following your post #4 at all. Are defending the author, Lee Kaplan, or criticizing him?
For what it's worth, I, for one, am strongly criticizing Kaplan. An idealistic yet ignorant young woman gets murdered by savages. And this Kaplan fellow decides to heap scorn on this victim because she “participated” in some events that he, Kaplan, didn't like.
